Fall's a coming.

Spring Summer  FALL is in the air, I can feel it! Especially at lunch times when I walk out and it's only 80 degrees or so mid-day (we won't talk about how it's above 90 by the time I'm getting back from lunch). Texas say whaaaa?  I'm still trying to hold on to the last few glimpses of summer, which means a couple of lake weekends and an outdoor wedding in the next couple of weeks, and lets not forget tailgating and fair time which is still hot enough to be "considered" Summer. And lets be real-Texas doesn't really get a "Fall" and jumps right to winter right around November, but I'm going to pretend it's about to be fall anyway. My middle name isn't Autumn for nothing (okay, so maybe it does have to do with the fact that I was born the day before Autumn starts), but I digress! Give me those crisp golden sunsets and leaf changing and pumpkins and hot chocolate and boots-oh my! Texas, I know you've got in in you.  I'm

Herron to Rivera: Pre Ceremony pics!

It's been a long 4 months, but we finally received our awesome photos back! I can't believe it's already been so long since the actual wedding day, and can't believe how awesome our photos turned out!  Here are a few of my favorites:  My awesome sister in law made me this, along with ones for both of our moms and the rest of the bridesmaids!  It takes a lot to dress a bride ;)    Love this one! We thought it was so silly to laugh on cue but it turned out super cute and all made us laugh for real.  Sister's concentration is inspiring!   First look with my Dad!  With the loveliest flower girls around! <3   Our awesome flowers are courtesy of Petals Couture !   Aren't they cutest? And full of sass! Three Amigos. Waiting on the last to seal the deal with her fiancĂ© in a few short weeks and join our married club!   My beautiful family! Love <3   Another fave of mine, just for the beau

I do...me too!

#sorrynotsorry for the onslaught of photos coming your way! Now that we have all of our photos back from our April wedding, I'm trying to organize my thoughts and memories and feelings on just about everything! My number 1 question in life will most likely always be a version: How does life go so fast?! In a few short weeks it will be SEPTEMBER (AKA the greatest month of the year because, well, both my hubby and I were BORN!), and with that comes birthdays (as previously mentioned), football, state fair, concerts (Garth Brooks anyone?), Holidays, BOOTS!, and plenty more warm, snuggly, goodiness that I just love. Back to my point, it's important now more than ever to really just soak up these times, because being an adult doesn't get any slower, and life doesn't get a second chance, so this is why I post so many photos and reminisce over and over ;)  So next time you're alone or get a sec, take a deep breath. Thank the Lord that you're alive and well. Bask

Wedding Day Q & A's

What were you thinking when you woke up on your wedding day? I had planned on getting a good night's rest since I was staying at my parents' house in Flower Mound, so I didn't set an alarm. Low and behold my natural body clock thought it was time to get up for work, so I was awake and laying in bed as early at 6:30 (but really, I didn't get much sleep at all!), just thinking over and over that I couldn't believe that this day was here, and we finally get to showcase everything that we had been working towards the past 15 months, and most importantly, I finally got to marry my best friend. It was a very surreal day that I look back at and I think I was just completely numb to my feelings (probably because I felt very uncomfortable being the very center of attention all day long).  Where did you get your dress/who designed it? I got my dress at Lasting Bridal Couture in Addison, in which I had already scoped them out months before Robert and I ever even
