Hair today, gone tomorrow!

Well. I did it. Took the plunge. Jumped off the band wagon. And I feel....about 8-9 inches lighter! 


And the not so pretty before photo (just looked at all that fried straw!):

    I love your short hair. You look so young and fabulous! I remember chopping off around 6 inches of hair a few months ago and I am definitely loving it. I've been having it trimmed 2 months. There are times though when I do miss curling my long straight hair.

      Thank you! I know what you mean...now I'm having to re-learn how to curl short hair with a straightener because my curling iron doesn't do the same as it did before!

Honeymoon Part 1

Where to start, where to start? It's surreal to me how we've ALREADY been married over a week, AND that we've already been to the Bahamas and back :( The Bahamas (in Nassau to be exact) is such a beautiful place. It's the same island that has the Atlantis Resort on it, which we could see in the distance down the coast from our resort. We really picked the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. We left cloudy, rainy Dallas and Atlanta to sunshine and white sand, blue water, and 80 degree weather! To cut, or not to cut...that is my question!

More like a dilemma. I've done it before, and I've grown it back out, so I can do it again-right? I feel like everyone has short hair these days (I currently have the longest hair on my team at work!) , and all I wanted when I had short hair was to have long hair again. Now that it's long (and gross and fried and ick at the ends) I want to go short. But then I have an awesome long-haired day and think I want to keep it long. Do you see my problem here? Summer is coming, so it's going to be up in a pony tail or bun most days, so that just seems like such a waste of hair. But I sweat a lot and since summer is hot, wearing it in it's intended short style probably wouldn't last.  What is a girl to do?!
